SilkPeel™ Disinfecting

The SilkPeel™ DermalInfusion™ system offers many benefits, not the least of which is its ease of use and maintenance. The bottles contain all the solution necessary for each complete disinfecting cycle. There is no guesswork and no hassle. The SilkPeel™ was designed to virtually eliminate cross-contamination, allowing for a simple, hands-off cleaning process. This quick and easy process frees your staff from meticulous duties and allows them to have more interaction with patients, book more appointments, and add on any other treatments while the SilkPeel™ cleans itself!

Instructions for Disinfecting

	1.	Replace treatment head and handpiece tip with blue cleaning tip.
	2.	Turn the machine on and adjust the Vacuum and Flow to maximum.
	3.	Replace the empty solution bottle with the 2 oz jar of disinfectant solution.
	4.	Turn the Vacuum down to 5.
	5.	Allow machine to run until disinfectant jar is empty and air displaces the fluid in the lines (about 5 minutes).
	6.	Adjust the vacuum pressure to maximum to finish airing out the lines, remove the jar and turn machine off.

Treatment Head Maintenance

The diamond encrusted treatment heads will remain in outstanding working condition for years if proper care is given to them. Our treatment heads come in a wide range of permanently bonded medical grade diamond grits: smooth, 30, 60, 80. 100. 120 and 140. These treatment heads are interchangeable and autoclaveable.

There are three simple steps to cleaning the treatment heads:

	1.	Remove the plastic handpiece tip and discard it with your biohazardous waste.
	2.	Remove the treatment head from the handpiece and soak it in an enzymatic detergent to remove any bioburden or tissue debris.
	3.	Autoclave the treatment head at 121° C for 45 minutes.

Treatment heads are available for purchase in sets, and for individual sale.
